2. What we collect and why
2.1 Contact requests
Through the form on the Contact page we collect: full name, company, email address, phone number and the content of the message.
- Purpose: replying to the request, providing technical or commercial information, preparing a quotation.
- Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Retention: 24 months from the last meaningful contact, unless a contract follows, in which case statutory accounting and tax terms apply (10 years).
2.2 Job applications
Through the form on the Careers page we collect: full name, email address, area of interest and the content of the message, which may include a link to a CV.
- Purpose: assessing the application for current or future positions.
- Legal basis: pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR); for data beyond what is requested and shared voluntarily, the consent expressed by submitting (Art. 6.1.a).
- Retention: 24 months from receipt, then automatic deletion.
Please do not include special categories of data (health, trade union membership, religious or political beliefs, ethnic origin) in your message: we do not need them and will delete them if received.
2.3 Browsing data
The systems running this website acquire, in the course of normal operation, data whose transmission is implicit in internet protocols: IP address, browser and operating system, request time, requested page. These are processed in aggregate form for security and technical diagnostics, on the basis of the controller's legitimate interest in the security of the service (Art. 6.1.f GDPR), and retained by the hosting provider for a maximum of 30 days.
2.4 Usage statistics
To understand which content is useful we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a tool that sets no cookies, assigns no persistent identifiers and does not track visitors across sites. Only aggregate data is collected (page views, traffic source, device type), which cannot be traced back to an identifiable person.
- Purpose: measuring site usage in aggregate form and improving content.
- Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest in assessing the effectiveness of its own website (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). As no identifying personal data is processed and no cookies are used, consent is not required.
3. Nature of provision
Providing the data marked as mandatory in the forms is necessary in order to act on the request: without it we cannot reply. Providing the remaining data is optional and only helps us give a more useful answer.
4. Who we share data with
Data is neither disseminated nor sold to third parties for marketing purposes. It may be processed by the following parties, appointed as data processors under Art. 28 GDPR:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, content delivery network, attack protection and aggregate usage statistics. A company based in the United States.
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — email delivery of messages sent through the forms. A company based in the United States.
- Our corporate email provider, for receiving and storing the requests.
- Consultants and professionals engaged by the controller, strictly as needed.
Data may also be disclosed to the competent authorities where required by law.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Use of the providers named above involves a transfer of personal data to theUnited States. The transfer takes place on the basis of theStandard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission and, where applicable, the provider's certification under the EU-USData Privacy Framework, together with the supplementary measures set out in the data processing agreement signed with the provider.
6. How we protect data
The site is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to data collected through the forms is limited to the controller's authorised staff and protected by individual credentials. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
7. Your rights
At any time you may exercise, within the limits of Articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation, the rights of:
- access to the personal data concerning you;
- rectification of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data;
- erasure ("right to be forgotten");
- restriction of processing;
- portability, to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
- objection to processing based on legitimate interest;
- withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

If you believe the processing infringes the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority(garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
8. Cookies
This site sets no profiling cookies of its own. TheContact page does, however, embed the Google Maps widget, which may set third-party cookies. For details, see theCookie policy.
