Automating a packaging line

The challenge
A packaging line with several stations run by different PLCs suffered from long format changeover times and unclear diagnostics in case of downtime.
The intervention
We redesigned the control logic with centralized format recipe management, standardized station-level diagnostics, and integrated a single HMI panel for the whole line.
The result
A significant reduction in changeover time and faster fault diagnosis thanks to precise, station-level alarm messages, resulting in a higher line OEE.
