The challenge
Work-in-progress was still being moved between departments manually with forklifts, creating bottlenecks and interference risks with staff on the shop floor.
The intervention
We integrated a fleet of AGVs with automatic traffic and priority management across shared routes, interfaced with the production system to automatically trigger transport missions.
The result
Reduced manual handling in the departments involved and more predictable supply timing for the downstream production lines.
